PMI participated in a meeting discussed strengthening networks of refugee-led organizations
Platform for media and information [PMI] participated in a workshop took place Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam [VU] 2nd September which was discussed strengthening networks of refugee-led organizations and improving the perspectives of refugees in policymaking. The meeting organized by the Refugee Academy and SYVNL was presented with the views of the participating organizations and it was also discussed how the voice of the defenders of refugee rights can be delivered to the centers where the laws are determined. The meeting was also brought up problems surrounding improving the cooperation of organizations that help refugees. Among the important issues that were discussed was to conduct training on capacity strengthening for some of the organizations that advocate the rights of refugees to understand the easiest way to be a voice for refugees.
